Claims

With a full claims handling capability in its offices in London, Greece and Hong Kong and a network of correspondents and sub-contractors, the Club provides Members with a global claims service of the highest quality.

First class claims handling is a vital part of the Club’s strategy because lower claims costs feed through into lower premiums. At the same time the Club recognises that effective claims handling means lower uninsured costs for Members in terms of delay, business interruption and harm to commercial reputation.

The claims teams are structured around Member relationships, so that legal and other technical skills are combined. The Club maintains an Emergency Response Team of key claims handlers available to handle major casualties. Round the clock availability is assured by the location of the principal offices and contact is available at all times with the claims team and legal and commercial correspondents.
