DFDS, founded in 1866, is northern Europe’s largest integrated shipping and logistics company. The group’s shipping division, DFDS Seaways, operates a network of 30 routes with 60 modern freight and passenger ships.
Some of the company’s vessels are registered in Lithuania and operated from Klaipeda. Two seminars are held annually for the company’s Lithuanian officers, and the first seminar this year took place at Palanga on 14-15 October. Approximately 30 officers attended together with senior management from Klaipeda and Copenhagen.
On this occasion the Club was invited to participate, and Loss Prevention Director Mark Williams gave a presentation at the event.
The first day ended with a lively dinner enjoyed by all!
