Chris Edwards joined West P&I in August 1988 working within the finance department. In 1995, he joined the claims department. He was promoted to Head of Claims (People Team) which was formed in October 2023. Chris had previously worked within the European Team having responsibility for Members in Northern/Eastern Europe, Mediterranean and Turkey. He has particular expertise in handling personal injury, crew and stowaways matters and reviewing crew contracts. Chris runs a working group committee for West offices concerning people matters and also represents the Club as a member of the UK Chamber of Shipping.
