New Guidance regarding use of Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS) within Australian Waters
The Australian Maritime Authority has released updated guidance concerning the use of Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS) in Australian waters. Marine Notice 2025/04 now supersedes Marine Notice 2022/12, aligning national regulations with the 0.05% m/m sulphur limit mandated under MARPOL Annex VI and domestic legislation.

Grey Water Regulation: A Growing Environmental Compliance Challenge
