Brazil Updates Ship Biofouling Standards to Align with IMO Guidelines
According to a recently released circular shared by Proinde Brazil, the Brazilian Navy has updated its ship biofouling regulations to align with the 2023 IMO Biofouling Guidelines. The new standards, implemented through NORMAM 401/DPC, aim to minimize the transfer of non-native aquatic species along the Brazilian coast.
