The IMO has published practical guidance to assist shipowners, insurers, financial security providers, claimants and national courts with the application of the 2001 Bunkers Convention.

The Manual provides specific information that is intended to help claimants with preparing and submitting claims for compensation for pollution damage or preventative measures covered by the 2001 Bunkers Convention.
