Simon Parrott, Chief Underwriting Officer to retire in summer 2025
After 40 years of service at the Club, Simon Parrott will step down from his position of Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) in the summer of 2025.
Simon has been an invaluable part of West, contributing to our success and growth over the years with his knowledge, expertise, and leadership being a great source of support for our Underwriting Department, as well as to our wider staff and the Club's Members.
The purpose of this long notice period is to allow the Club to find a suitable successor and to enable a seamless handover of Simon’s responsibilities.
Simon
will continue in his existing CUO role
as well as actively supporting the management in the transition period between
now and when he formally retires. He will remain a Director of the Club.
Simon Parrott commented
"I have been very privileged to work at the Club for 40 years, all that time in the Underwriting Department, but latterly as CUO. West has been transformed under the current management with the new strategy putting us in a strong position for the future, and I have been delighted to be a part of this transition. Our focus has always been to provide the highest levels of service to the Membership and their brokers, and this will of course continue, with a seamless handover to my successor next year."
