West strengthens UAE office with senior support from London

West P&I is pleased to announce an expansion of responsibilities for Enam Hussain, Head of Middle East Operations & Offshore, who will now also lead as Head of Claims within the Club's UAE office. This move strengthens Wests regional presence and reinforces our commitment to Members and clients across the Middle East and Indian subcontinent.

In his broadened remit, Enam will take leadership of the UAE claims team, enhancing the Club’s on‑the‑ground capability in the region. Enam’s extensive experience in complex claims will support increasing demand, extend our reach, and ensure West continues to deliver the high‑quality, responsive claims service our Members and clients in the region expect.

Enam will continue to work with Offshore teams globally, supporting a comprehensive claims service and the technical expertise required by our offshore Members and clients.

Gagan Dhillon, CEO of the West UAE office, will exclusively concentrate on marketing, Member relationships, and business development across the region, working in close alignment with West's underwriting leadership in London and expanding our commercial presence across all of the Club’s product lines.
