Mobile Website Launched - List of Correspondents now electronic

The West of England has launched a new mobile version of the Club website, enabling easier access to important information whilst on the move.

The new site offers a slimmed down version of our desktop site but retains the key elements essential for mobile users:

• Contacts – quick access to contact details for staff in all of our offices
• Correspondents – full contact information for the Club’s network of correspondents
• Vessel Search – up-to-date search of vessels currently entered in the Club
• Publications – latest news and Notices

The new site is designed to work with a wide variety of devices and phones including iPhones, Android smartphones and BlackBerrys. Mobile devices are automatically directed to the new site, but those with devices that have high-resolution displays may still use the full website by following the “Desktop Site” link.

In order to improve the efficiency and availability of information, the Managers have decided that with effect from 20 February 2012 we will no longer publish a hard copy of our List of Correspondents. The information will still be available through our website and the new mobile version of our site. Copies are also available on CD upon request and Members should liaise with their usual contact at the Club.
