Turkey - Turkish Straits Maritime Traffic Order Regulations

Vitsan Mümessillik ve Müşavirlik A.Ş, Istanbul, have provided the Club with a free translation of the new “Turkish Straits Maritime Traffic Order Regulations Enforcement Directives”.

Members are advised to ensure that their vessels transiting the Turkish Straits are aware of and comply with the regulatory requirements and that vessels of 500 GT or more, and those engaged in the carriage of dangerous goods, are able to provide documentary evidence that they have P&I cover in place.
