West of England (Hellas)
We are pleased to announce that with effect from 20 February 2011 Ian Clarke has been appointed as Director of the West of England (Hellas) and has become the Club’s legal representative in Greece.
Ian qualified as a solicitor and joined the Club in 2005. He has extensive experience in both P&I and FD&D claims and was most recently Team Leader for Claims Team 3 in London.
Ian will work with our Team in Piraeus to broaden and strengthen the claims handling and advisory services for the Membership in Greece. He will maintain and develop the Club’s business in Greece working with the Underwriting Department and in particular Tom Bowsher in London who has full underwriting responsibility for the Greek Membership.
After 13 years service with the Club’s office in Greece Anna Kountouriotou has decided to retire from the Board of West of England (Hellas) and to resume her legal career in private practice. On behalf of the Board, the Club’s Management and the Membership I would like to thank her for her considerable contributions to the professional provision of claims services to the Members in Greece and for managing the Club’s office since 2006.
