Shipping Industry Guidance on Pilot Transfer Arrangements (Revised Version) Published

The International Maritime Pilots' Association (IMPA), in collaboration with the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), supported by the International Group of P&I Clubs and other industry partners, has recently published a revised edition of Shipping Industry Guidance on Pilot Transfer Arrangements.
This latest edition of the guidance incorporates a new section that outlines the International Maritime Organization (IMO) guidance on combination embarkation platform arrangements.
Members are encouraged to provide a copy of the publication to each of their vessels and ensure that the latest version of the IMPA’s Required Boarding Arrangements for Pilot poster is displayed in the wheelhouse.
