It is with much sadness that we must report the death of Ken Norman after a short illness. Ken joined the West of England in September 1950 at the age of 15 and went on to undertake many roles across a forty seven year career at the Club, most notably that of managing the network of Club correspondents around the world and many of whom became Ken’s personal friends. He retired in October 1997 but went on to undertake other roles in the P&I industry and within his local community.
Ken was a true friend of the West of England and served the Club with great distinction. The Managers offer his family our deepest condolences for the passing of one of the great characters of P&I and who we will miss greatly.
