WEST OF ENGLAND INSURANCE SERVICES (LUXEMBOURG) S.A. –
APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR, UNDERWRITING.

I am pleased to announce that Jerry Westmore has been appointed as a Director of West of England Insurance Services (Luxembourg) S.A. from 1 September 2009 with specific responsibility for marketing as well as business and product development. Simon Parrott will have operational control of the Underwriting Department as a whole. He and Jerry and Richard Macnamara in Hong Kong will each have underwriting responsibility for specific areas of the Club’s membership.

Jerry has more than 20 years of underwriting experience with another Group Club and, most recently, broad market experience with two leading marine brokers where he specialised in P&I.

In the meantime, I am pleased to advise that Paul Hunter, who has been absent since March as a result of an accident, continues to make good progress with his recovery.
