Dominican Republic - National Park Environmental Fines

A number of vessels have been fined substantial sums for navigating, anchoring or grounding within national parks surrounding the Dominican Republic. These parks are reportedly not marked on navigation charts or publicised by means of Notices to Mariners, therefore vessels need to be aware of the location of these parks and ensure they plan their passages accordingly.
